Well, since I got the game "Yo Jin Bo" from my friend, I decided to try to finish it in one sitting. Good news is, I finished it. Bad news? My computer's security system decided to be a bastard and delete all my photos and saves DX. So now I have to do a fresh new start, and decided to do a play by play screen shot, in case this ever happens again...
My first Otome game, I feel so happy all of a sudden~In this game, you're a girl named Sayori, a not so very "ordinary" high school girl. So it's summer vacation and she decides to help at a archaeological excavation to help find treasure. Note that she's a history club member. She also tells that she's shy and reserved, spending her daily time in the library reading up on history.
Though, it seems that Sayori doesn't remember much. Such a great member of the History Club = = The place where they were going was a dried up river. Of course, Otome games usually have clumsy heroines... So Sayori trips while walking on the muddy ground and gets her school uniform why is she wearing her school uniform on summer break and during an excavation dirty. After the magnificant fail trip on the dry ground, Sayori finds a jewel stuck in the mud. You have a choice to pick it up or leave it there.
It's a large jewel, why the hell couldn't anyone else find this jewel?Either way, she'll pick up the thing. Even though they don't seem like big choices that do anything in the game, you will have to make a different choice when you decide to do the other characters
And so, night comes and she's back at her house. The whole time, she's complaining about how she has to walk so far and how her leg aches. Then we go the jewel, and she declares...
And so, our girl falls asleep. Muttering about how she'll return the jewel to the police on the next day since she's done looking at it. The screen goes black, making me (while on my first time) wonder if I somehow destroyed the game and wonder how to explain it to my friend. Then a mysterious voice pops out of nowhere. Please note that if you do play this game and put it on high volume like I did on the first time, don't scream = ='' I thought Sayori's voice was broken, so I turned it on high, forgetting to turn it off after I learned that she didn't have a voice actress. So now you have a creepy sad voice asking for help and the jewel you found floating in mid-air. Dream? I do think so.
That's some messed up dream you have there missy. Ignore the floating thing and go back to sleep now... Or wake up > < ... Uhhh, haunted room much? O_o"
So Sayori is now freaking out. She decides to go and count sheeps, in hopes that she'll fall alseep and maybe wake up again to not see the floating transparent woman in front of her who was glowing green. So after counting up to twenty sheeps, she opens her eyes.
If PETA saw this, they would be mad... Even if it is implied and not real. May you all rest in peace imaginary sheeps. Ghost girl is now going, "Save me... Help me..." in a pretty distress voice. She lifts her arm and giving out signals to Sayori to hold her hand. So you have two choics...
Once again, the choices don't seem much, but avoiding to hold her hand is necessary for certain routes Mon Mon's and Yo's route. Either way...
* Touch *
Annnnndddd, we're whisked away to so random place. It's pretty much all white screen except for the text.
So partly confused, we and Sayori are in the shadows about what the hell was going on, other than the fact that a gruesome battle is happening and our heroine is force to watch it for a short period of time. SCENE CHANGE! We are now viewing a random girl that is about to die after coming from a cave. Poor girl.
The reason the text is a different colour from here is because I kinda screwed up by clicking too fast. So I had to go back. Ugh, bad colour = =" After a loud scream of "NO!" from Sayori, she's dragged away AGAIN.
Annnnnddd, this is where the first chapter ends. Hopefully this kept you guys interested. I'll do the next chapter tomorrow or the day after if I'm not lazy or doing cosplay. If you want a specific route, just comment, if now, I'll be doing Ittosai first.
Seeya next time, bye bye~
